(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Lawrenceburg Summer Event Series presented by CIVISTA Bank features the return of the Whiskey City Challenge July 16th in downtown Lawrenceburg! The competition is on with 15 hi-speed professional cycling races, great local food options, music, splash park for the kiddos, Cornhole Tournament, Celebrity Tricycle Race and Skateboard Jump Jam. It’s a day for the races!
The Whiskey City Challenge in beautiful, downtown Lawrenceburg will host the 2022 Indiana State Criterium Championships with Men, Women & Junior races on a dedicated route that’s spectator friendly and attracts competitors from across the nation. Led by the Lawrenceburg Police Motor Patrol, these professional cyclists race around a .65-mile course with 4 hairpin turns to break record speeds in a blur of color. The Whiskey City Challenge is known as a top attraction on the race circuit for good reason.

Rain or shine event with races starting at 1 PM and the last competitive race at 9 pm. Start/Finish Line is located at 135 W. High St. Part of the IN/KY Criterium Race Series, the Whiskey City Challenge awards over $12,500 in cash and prime awards.
Looking for fun, comic relief - check out the Celebrity Tricycle Race at 5:15 pm. It’s hilarious and harder than it looks, folks! Starting line is at the intersection of Walnut St. and High Street with finish at the Lawrenceburg Civic Park.
The Whiskey City Challenge Cornhole Tournament features FREE registration 11-12:30 pm in front of Strong’s Pizza on Walnut St. Novice or pretty good – this Cornhole Tournament features a competitive balance for all. Must be present for random team bracket draw at 12:30 pm. Cornhole Tournament begins at 1 pm. Double Elimination with $200 for 1st Prize Winners and $100 for 2nd Prize Winners.
Blacklist, a local skateboard shop located in Lawrenceburg Indiana, will feature the Skateboard Jump Jam and activities between 1 – 7 pm between Center St & William St.
