Wind Advisory for the Tri-State Area and Greater Portions of Southeast Indiana

A wind advisory will go in effect from 10 AM today until midnight tonight.

(Tri-State Area) - The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory that will go in effect from 10 AM today until midnight tonight. South winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.

This is for portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northern Kentucky, and southwest and west central Ohio.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if you are in a high-profile vehicle. Make sure to secure any outdoor objects.
