Switzerland County won the conference title in both boys and girls soccer.
(Vevay, Ind.) – The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its 2024 Boys and Girls Soccer All-Conference Teams.
Sixteen boys and 16 girls earned the yearly honor.
In boys’ soccer, Switzerland County placed four on the all-conference team. They are Austin Johns, Ashton Purvis, Cooper Todd, and Nate Williams.
The Pacers went 11-1 in conference play, winning the ORVC title. Cooper Todd, the 2024 ORVC Mental Attitude Award winner, led the way with 31 goals and 14 assists. During the season, Todd surpassed 100 career goals, making him the only Pacer ever to reach that milestone.
Purvis and Johns combined for 20 goals and 13 assists, while Williams made 86 saves and recorded 10 shutouts in goal.
The Switzerland County girls were also crowned conference champions with a perfect 10-0 record in conference play.
The Lady Pacers were led by four all-conference selections: Avy Burkholder, Emma Parsons, Claire Rogers, and Emma South.
Parsons scored a conference-high 25 goals and added 18 assists. South (18 goals), Burkholder (11 goals), and Rogers (7 goals) ranked second, third and fourth in goals scored for the Pacers.
Southwestern’s Jaclyn Jackson was named the Mental Attitude Award Winner.
