(Batesville, Ind.) - A big time performance at the Ripley County Tournament has garnered Cole Pride statewide recognition.
On Tuesday, the Batesville senior was named the IBCA District 3 Player of the Week for Week 10 of the high school basketball season.
Pride, the Ripley County Tournament MVP, led his team to the tournament title.
In the first round against Jac-Cen-Del, Pride went 12-14 from the field for 31 points. He added eight rebounds, two steals, and three blocks in the 64-42 win.
Pride tallied a double-double in the championship game against South Ripley with 18 points and 18 rebounds.
This season, Pride leads the Bulldogs in scoring (17.3) and rebounding (9.0).
