INDIANAPOLIS – Ten high school soccer stars from Eagle Country have earned recognition from the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association.
The ISCA announced this week their 2024 All-District Teams.
Four East Central Lady Trojans were selected in District 3. Senior forwards Maria Mayer and Ava Leihgeber were joined on the District 3 First Team by senior goalkeeper Rylee Schloss.
Senior midfielder Anna Black made the District 3 Second Team
Earlier this season, Mayer broke the program record for goals in a season, while Schloss earned her 50th career shutout.
The Lady Trojans (18-2-1) will take on Center Grove (15-4-3) in a Class 3A Semi-State matchup at Martinsville on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
Lawrenceburg also had four All-District selections. Senior goalkeeper Hillary Knippenberg, junior defender Aubrey Labazzo, and senior forward Morgan Manford were named to the First Team in District 4.
Senior forward Preslee Rugg earned Second Team All-District honors.
Like East Central, Lawrenceburg (19-1) will play Brebeuf Jesuit (10-8-2) in a Class 2A Semi-State at Martinsville on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
In boys soccer, East Central senior forward Brennan Lewis and Switzerland County senior forward Cooper Todd were selected to the First Team in District 4.
This season, Todd became the first Pacer to eclipse 100 career goals.
Those selected First Team All-District will compete at the 27th annual ISCA College Showcase this November at North Central High School. More details can be found at ISCA Awards Banquet Information | Indiana Soccer Coaches Association.
