EC's Ringer Breaks School Record for Career Rushing TD, Most Points Scored

Ringer needs 1,221 yards to become EC's all-time leading rusher.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - Josh Ringer continues to etch his name in the East Central High School history book.

On Friday, Ringer ran for 140 yards and four touchdowns in a 55-0 win over Franklin County.

With his fourth TD of the game, Ringer set the school record for career rushing touchdowns with 69, breaking the previous record set by Alex Maxwell (68, 2015-18).

He also surpassed Andrew Wolf as the program's all-time leading scorer. Wolf, a 1998 EC graduate, finished his high school career with 434 points. Ringer now stands at 444 points scored and counting.

Ringer, a three-star Miami (Oh.) commit, has rushed for 728 yards and 15 touchdowns through four games. He needs another 1,221 yards to break Wolf's career rushing yards record of 5,708. He may also challenge his own record of 39 single season rushing touchdowns.
