(St. Leon, Ind.) – It was a banner year for East Central soccer.
The Trojans boys and girls both captured EIAC Championships with perfect 7-0 records against conference rivals.
The Lady Trojans placed six on the All-Conference Team, including EIAC Offensive MVP Olivia Hopper.
Hopper won the award for the second year in a row after posting a team-high 24 goals and 11 assists. Fellow all-conference selections, Ellie Hill and Caitlyn Dick, were also double-digit scorers, while Lexi Watkins led the team with 22 assists.
The EIAC Defensive MVP award went to Lawrenceburg freshman Aubree Labazzo.
On the boy's side, East Central star JT Roden was named the EIAC Offensive MVP for the second year in a row.
Roden was the top goal scorer in the conference with 26. He finished second in assists (12) behind teammate Joey Black, who had 13. Hornbach anchored a Trojans defense that only allowed six goals all season.
