Franklin County HS Gets New Mascot

Staff and students voted to determine the name.

(Brookville, Ind.) – Franklin County High School has a new mascot.

The Franklin County Community Foundation recently awarded a grant to the cheerleading team to help purchase a new mascot from the Netherlands.

To determine a name for the mascot, all staff and students got to submit names to be voted on.

The name, Franklin, received a majority of the 469 votes.
