Hanover College Gets Commitment from Lawrenceburg Safety

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg Tigers safety Zavyn Slayback will be staying close to home to play college football.

The Lawrenceburg senior announced his commitment to Hanover College on Tuesday.

Slayback was the Tigers’ leading tackler in 2023 with 76. He also tallied a sack and two interceptions, one of which went for a touchdown.

In the return game, Slayback totaled 255 yards on punt returns and 371 yards on kickoff returns.

Slayback was one of seven Tigers named to the EIAC All-Conference Team.
