(Fargo, ND.) - Two Harrison High School wrestlers have ended their high school careers by earning All-American status.
Chloe Dearwester and Raegan Briggs put a bow on their marvelous high school wrestling careers at the USA Wrestling National Championships over the weekend in Fargo, North Dakota.
Dearwester, a Presbyterian College commit and four-time state champion, was the top seed in the 110 lbs.Junior Women Freestyle bracket - where she placed 2nd.
She won five matches to reach the finals, where she was defeated 11-0 by Taylor Whiting, of Wisconsin.
By placing second, Dearwester is now a four-time USA Wrestling All-American. She will wrestle at the Division I level starting in the fall.
For Raegan Briggs, she wrapped up her high school career as a two-time state champion and now, a two-time All-American.
Briggs placed 8th in the 120 lbs. bracket. She won her first three matches before losing narrowly in the quarterfinals. Briggs, like Dearwester, will also wrestle at the college level. She will attend Otterbein University in the fall.
