JCD's Williams, Day Again Named ORVC Basketball Players of the Week

Day and Williams also earned weekly honors between Nov. 29 - Dec. 4.

(Osgood, Ind.) – Two Jac-Cen-Del basketball stars highlight the latest ORVC report.

The Ohio River Valley Conference released their latest weekly report on Tuesday.

Annabelle Williams was named the ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week for January 17-22. The Lady Eagles’ star totaled 27 points, 16 rebounds, 13 assists and 7 steals in two wins over Switzerland County and Rising Sun.

Williams is among the conference’s top scorers at 10.4 points per game. She currently leads the ORVC with 103 assists.

Classmate Wyatt Day was named the ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week. Day averaged 23 points and 7 rebounds in two games.

Day currently leads the ORVC in scoring at 20.5 points per game.

This is the second time this season Williams and Day have been named ORVC Basketball Players of the Week in the same week. They previously received weekly honors between Nov. 29 - Dec. 4.

The ORVC Swim Performers of the Week are Rising Sun’s Nate Graver and Southwestern’s Raygan Crawford.
