(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A big contributor to the recent success of the Lawrenceburg Tigers football program has made his college decision.
Ethan Parris committed to the University of Saint Francis on Wednesday.
The 6'1", 270 pound senior starred for the Tigers on the offensive and defensive line. Parris totaled 51 tackles this season, and helped anchor an offensive line that paved the way for 410 yards of total offense per game.
Parris made the following statement via Twitter:
"First off I'd like to thank Coach Knigga and my family for helping and supporting me throughout the process. I'd also like to thank all the coaches that recruited me and believed in me all the way. After a lot of conversation and talking with my family, I have decided to continue my academic and football career at the University of Saint Francis!!! #GoCougs!
Parris chose Saint Francis over the likes of Dayton, Indianapolis, Valpo, Depauw, Mount St. Joseph, Marian, and Indiana Wesleyan.
The USF program is a two-time NAIA National Champion (2016, 2017).
