INDIANAPOLIS – More awards keep piling up for the Lawrenceburg Tigers girls soccer program.

Fresh off of a state championship win, three Tigers and head coach Bill Offutt were recognized on Monday by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association.

Lawrenceburg junior defender Aubrey LaBazzo was named Third Team All-State. LaBazzo helped anchor the Tigers defense that surrendered only seven goals in 22 matches.

Senior goalkeeper Hillary Knippenberg, who made two penalty kick saves in the state championship game, received Honorable Mention. Senior midfielder Morgan Manford also received Honorable Mention after posting 17 goals and eight assists for the Tigers.

Head coach Bill Offutt was named the ISCA Girls Soccer Coach of the Year. Coach Offutt said the award is very much a team award.

“It’s definitely an honor for Lawrenceburg to have that type of recognition. The mental attitude award, the state championship, even the state coach of the year award is something that has Lawrenceburg beside it. Lawrenceburg gets that recognition,” said Coach Offutt.
