(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Lawrenceburg and Milan communities came together on Tuesday evening to support a great cause.

Lawrenceburg volleyball hosted Milan for their Dig Pink Night to support the Side Out Foundation.

The Tigers, dawning new pink jerseys supplied by Tiger Pride, won the match 3-0, but the true winner last night was the Side Out Foundation, which is committed to providing life-extending solutions through precision medicine for the metastatic breast cancer community.

As of Wednesday morning, Lawrenceburg High School has raised $1,083 towards a $2,500 goal.

Your support will fuel a groundbreaking research program focused on patients battling metastatic breast cancer – the most challenging form of the disease and, tragically, the area that receives the least research funding.

Milan will host their very own Dig Pink game on Thursday against Jac-Cen-Del. Proceeds from the game will support Katie Poole as she continues her battle with cancer.
