WRESTLING

The Batesville High School wrestling hosted Greensburg and came away with a 44-25 victory. Despite giving up two forfeits the Bulldogs came away with a 44-35 victory. Winning by pin were sophomore Adam Brewer (132), Alex Krekeler (190), Andrew Jones (215), and Max Amberger (285). Jacob Starost (138) received a forfeit, while freshman Carson Weiler(106) won by tech fall with a score of 18-0 and Conner Shields (150) won with a 16-14 decision. Freshman Isaac Enneking(157) won by pin in a JV match. The Bulldogs honored seven seniors on the night. Being honored were Max Amberger, Andrew Jones, Damien Dance, John Dirkhising, Conner Shields, Alex Krekeler, and Damien Krekeler. The Bulldogs record moves to 8-10 with the victory as they head to South Dearborn to compete in the EIAC Tournament on Saturday January 18th.
