(Milan, Ind.) – Four boys golfers from Milan High School highlight this year’s All-ORVC Team.
Milan captured the ORVC Championship at the conference tournament on May 22 at The Links at Rising Star.
It was a dominating win for the Indians with a low team score of 333. Shawe Memorial finished in second, carding a 382. Switzerland County was next at 386.
Milan was led by Josh Clark, who shot 1-under for the round with a 70. Clark’s score is the lowest score in ORVC history. Golf became an ORVC recognized sport in 1971.
Bryson Harris (75), Peyton Wert (94), and Cole Knecht (94) joined Clark on the all-conference team.
The Rising Sun pair of Nate Elliott and Chris Bowne made all-conference, shooting 98 and 99, respectively.
Switzerland County’s Bryce Wrightsman and Austin Wolf also made all-conference.
The 2021 ORVC Mental Attitude Award went to Josh Clark.
Milan’s Pat Murphy was named the ORVC Coach of the Year.
