Rising Sun Releases Attendance Restrictions, Guidelines For Indoor Winter Sports

Attendance restrictions will be based on the state COVID-19 level map.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – Rising Sun – Ohio County School Corporation has released guidelines for attending indoor winter sports. 

According to athletic director Abby Friend, attendance restrictions will be based on the state COVID-19 level map.

The various levels are:

  • Red: 2 tickets per participating student and coaches
  • Orange: 4 tickets per participating student and coaches
  • Yellow: 2 tickets per participating student and coaches, 350 tickets sold at the gate
  • Blue: 2 tickets per participating student and coaches, 600 tickets sold at the gate

Face coverings are mandatory at all indoor events unless the attendee is eating or drinking. To ensure face coverings are worn, play could be stopped to make a warning announcement regarding face coverings; individuals may be asked to leave and won’t be able to return for the remainder of the season; and play could be stopped and the gym cleared.
