(Undated) - What would it look like if high school football stars from across southeastern Indiana teamed up?

A glimpse of what the roster might look like was offered Wednesday night when the Indiana Football Coaches Association released their Region All-Star Teams for the 2019 season.

Locally, nine stars from South Dearborn, East Central, Lawrenceburg and Milan were selected to the Region 10 All-Star Team.

On the offensive side of the ball, the South Dearborn trio of Adam Dixon, Dalton Guthrie and Jake Black highlighted the skill players.

Dixon, a senior quarterback, led the Knights' attack in 2019 with 1,655 passing yards and 20 total touchdowns. Jake Black was one of his top receiving targets, totaling 377 yards and seven touchdowns.

Running back Dalton Guthrie rushed for 804 yards and 13 touchdowns. Plus, he just picked up an offer from Valparaiso University, a Division I FCS school.

Joining the Knights' trio on the Region 10 All-Star Team is Lawrenceburg wide receiver Gavin Yoon and offensive tackle Jason Morton.

Despite playing in only six games, Yoon racked up 638 yards and eight touchdowns. As for Morton, his play garnered an AP All-State selection in Class 3A. Morton is signed to play at Miami (Oh.) this fall.

Add East Central offensive lineman Devin Salyers to the mix and that offense would be potent.

On defense, East Central had two Region 10 All-Star selections. They are defensive tackle Gage Ertel and defensive back Devon Donawerth. As a senior, Ertel total 43 tackles, including 12.5 for a loss. Donawerth starred in the defensive secondary, as a returner and as an offensive playmaker for the Trojans.

They are joined on the Region 10 All-Star Team by Milan linebacker Dakota Sams. Sams led the Indians with 121 tackles, including 39 for a loss.

South Dearborn head coach Rand Ballart was selected to represent the region as coach for the all-star game.

"It's definitely a great honor to be selected to coach alongside the other great coaches across the state and I am excited for the opportunity to be part of the North South All-Star Game this summer," said Ballart

Lawrenceburg's Brigitte Blondell was selected as the Region 10 manager.
