South Dearborn currently holds the record for the most RTC titles in girls tournament history with eight. Lawrenceburg could tie that mark if they cut down the nets for a seventh consecutive time.
For South Dearborn, they are seeking their first RTC championship since 2013. The Lady Knights last appeared in the championship game in 2019.
Switzerland County has made it to the championship game in each of the last three years, but have not won the RTC since 2016 when current Lady Pacers head coach Brooke Todd was a senior and tournament MVP.
Rising Sun has never won the RTC and is looking to get back to the championship game for the first time since 2015.

The boys tournament begins on Thursday, January 5.
South Dearborn (8-3) and Switzerland County (5-5) will play game one at 6:00 p.m., followed by Lawrenceburg (6-3) and Rising Sun (4-5) in game two.
South Dearborn is seeking their third consecutive RTC title.
Last year, the Knights defeated Lawrenceburg in the championship game by a score of 39-23. The 62 combined points nearly set the record for the fewest points in a boys title game. The record is 57, which was set in 2012 (SD 36, L'Burg 21).
With South Dearborn's championship win a year ago, the Knights reclaimed the record for most RTC championships with nine. If Lawrenceburg wins the title this year, they would tie the record. The Tigers once dominated the RTC winning five of six championships between 2015 and 2020.
Rising Sun last won in 2019, their first and only RTC championship. Switzerland County has not cut down the nets since 2014.
