South Ripley, Rising Sun Student-Athletes Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

(Versailles, Ind.) – Four student-athletes have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference.

The ORVC Report for November 4-16 was released this week.

South Ripley’s Claire Samples and Southwestern’s Olivia Simpson were named the ORVC Girls Basketball Players of the Week.

Samples totaled 71 points, 29 rebounds, 19 assists, and 10 steals in four games. Simpson totaled 33 points, 29 rebounds, 29 assists, and 23 steals in four games, including a triple-double against Brown County.

In swimming, South Ripley’s Elizabeth McKittrick and Rising Sun’s Olivia Graver are the Performers of the Week.
