South Ripley's Stone Receives IHSAA Exemplary Sportsmanship Award

(Versailles, Ind.) – South Ripley High School senior Macy Stone has been recognized for great sportsmanship.

This week, Stone received the IHSAA Exemplary Sportsmanship Award.

The award recognized Stone’s actions at a volleyball tournament over the weekend after one of her powerful strikes struck an opposing player in the face.

Stone made sure to check on her opponent after the game.

Aside from showing great sportsmanship, Stone is performing well on the court. She has totaled 126 kills, 51 aces, 22 blocks, 136 digs, and 329 assists in 23 matches this season.
