Southwestern, Rising Sun Athletes Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

(Hanover, Ind.) - Student-athletes from Southwestern High School earned three of four weekly awards from the Ohio River Valley Conference. 

The ORVC report for December 20-January 1 was released on Tuesday. 

Southwestern's Ashley Fulton was named the ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week. Over five games, Fulton totaled 71 points, 34 rebounds, and 12 assists. 

Her classmate, Zach Cole, was named the ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week after posting 51 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists over a three-game span. 

The ORVC Swim Performers of the Week are Southwestern's Raygan Crawford and Rising Sun's Nate Graver. 

Crawford starred in the 100-yard Backstroke and 200-yard Freestyle, while Graver posted winning times in the 100-yard Freestyle and 100-yard Breaststroke.
