Mefford is a big reason why the Rebels are 21-1 and the #1 ranked team in Class 2A.
(Hanover, Ind.) – Southwestern Hanover’s do-it-all sophomore guard has been recognized by the Ohio River Valley Conference.
The ORVC report for February 11-16 was released on Tuesday.
Foster Mefford was named the ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week. The Rebels star averaged 18 points, 9 assists and 7.5 rebounds over two games last week.
Mefford currently leads the ORVC in assists at 7.3 per game and is the conference’s sixth leading scorer at 14.9 points a game.
Southwestern is currently ranked #1 in Class 2A. The Rebels will take on Switzerland County in the first round of Sectional 45 at South Ripley on February 26.
